Review For Menagerie of Broken Dreams

So heartwarming to get a nice review!

This review is from: Menagerie of Broken Dreams (Paperback)
James R Nelson’s book, The Menagerie of Broken Dreams, delivers an entertaining and suspenseful look at a part of Americana; that of the human oddities performing in a “menagerie”, or side show.

The setting is Florida and Nelson’s ability to describe the interesting group of characters connected with the attractions reels you in and keeps you asking for more. I don’t want to give too much away but some of the characters may make you feel a bit uneasy and yet sympathetic to their plight. Other lives intermingle with the circus performers adding to the tense atmosphere created by this talented up and coming author.

I believe this is the best of this author’s novels so far. I look forward to the next novel soon to be released. I hope!

About Hurricane River Publishing

I write mystery novels. The Butterfly Conspiracy and The Peacock Prophecy, feature Stepehn Moorehouse, his Uncle Phillip Kahle, and Stephen's romantic interest, Jeanette St. Jacques. The Maze At Four Chimneys features John Barrington and his family. The Black Orchid Mystery features a detective named Archie Archibald. This book takes place in Vero Beach, Florida but has ties to John Barrington from The Maze book. My latest book, Menagerie of Broken Dreams, brings back Stephen Moorhouse and his uncle Philip, as they travel to central Florida to make a movie. Things don't go as planned when they meet Doctor Merryweather and his run down roadside attraction the Menagerie.
