It’s a Small World !

Today I had the pleasure of attending a discussion by James W. Hall where he discussed his new book, “Cracking The Code Of the Twentieth Century’s Biggest Bestsellers.”  During Mr. Hall’s excellent talk, he mentioned several of his students who had gone on to become well known published authors.  One of the people he mentioned was Vicki Hendricks.  I was quite surprised because I knew Vicki many years ago when I was teaching in Ft. Lauderdale.  We used to go to the same end of the year party my best friend held every year.  I knew she had written a book but I didn’t know how popular she had become.  It really is a small world!  Here I am going to a literary talk at The Moorings in Vero Beach by a famous author and it turns out we know the same person….

About Hurricane River Publishing

I write mystery novels. The Butterfly Conspiracy and The Peacock Prophecy, feature Stepehn Moorehouse, his Uncle Phillip Kahle, and Stephen's romantic interest, Jeanette St. Jacques. The Maze At Four Chimneys features John Barrington and his family. The Black Orchid Mystery features a detective named Archie Archibald. This book takes place in Vero Beach, Florida but has ties to John Barrington from The Maze book. My latest book, Menagerie of Broken Dreams, brings back Stephen Moorhouse and his uncle Philip, as they travel to central Florida to make a movie. Things don't go as planned when they meet Doctor Merryweather and his run down roadside attraction the Menagerie.
