A Mackinac Island Mystery

My 3rd mystery novel is finally finished.  It is such a wonderful feeling to know that this book is now put to bed and available for all to read.  Going back to the characters from book 1 was like revisiting friends.  I could dive right in and start writing, once the outline was done.  I knew them and could watch them come to life as they started their new adventure.

One surprise for me was watching Dom’s part grow.  Remember him?  He was the stranger on the train who told Stephen he thought he was being followed.  They kept in touch and now meet again.  This time we also get to meet Dom’s brother and a few more surprises from the Dombrowski family!

And then there is the sexy Barbara Jenkins and also Caroline Brentwood and her mother Agnes- who have come all the way from England to attend Phillip Kahle’s party at Cliffside Manor.

I’m anxious for you to meet the brooding Edward Van Dyke…. he has a very interesting past.

While it was so much fun bringing my characters back from “The Butterfly Conspiracy”, I’m slaving away on my next outline.  Already, I seem to have enough going on for at least another 300 pages.  All new chacters this time…more on that later!

About Hurricane River Publishing

I write mystery novels. The Butterfly Conspiracy and The Peacock Prophecy, feature Stepehn Moorehouse, his Uncle Phillip Kahle, and Stephen's romantic interest, Jeanette St. Jacques. The Maze At Four Chimneys features John Barrington and his family. The Black Orchid Mystery features a detective named Archie Archibald. This book takes place in Vero Beach, Florida but has ties to John Barrington from The Maze book. My latest book, Menagerie of Broken Dreams, brings back Stephen Moorhouse and his uncle Philip, as they travel to central Florida to make a movie. Things don't go as planned when they meet Doctor Merryweather and his run down roadside attraction the Menagerie.
